Au Temps des Toiles was born during our 11-month journey across Canada in 2022, a trip that made us fall in love with the country’s vast landscapes and diverse provinces. As enthusiasts of photography and the outdoors, we wanted to capture and share the places that left a mark on us, whether they’re iconic cities, hiking trails, or hidden gems. Each of our posters is primarily created from photos we take on-site, with each piece reflecting our personal view of the location.

Once home, we transform these photos into illustrations and fine-tune every detail in Photoshop to achieve the aesthetic we envision, blending a vintage and retro feel. Our goal is to showcase these remarkable and sometimes lesser-known places so that others can bring a piece of them into their own homes. From concept to printing and assembly, everything is crafted in-house, with a dedication to quality and authenticity.
